It’s always a good day when you can recognize your employees for the great work they do to make this a better community.
Today is one of those days!
The United Way Fox Cities recently celebrated the conclusion of its 2012 campaign, and our employees contributed more than $14,000, setting a new company record for employee contributions.
Overall, United Way Fox Cities raised more than $7.3 million in 2012, which will help more than 100,000 people in the Fox Valley area meet basic needs through community education, income and health programs. We’re glad to be part of such a supportive community.
For the 2012 campaign, 63 FNB-Fox Valley employees took part in the annual pledge drive, a participation rate of 88 percent. Fifty-four percent of those employees increased their pledge from the previous year.
FNB-Fox Valley’s United Way campaign was selected as a finalist for the Small Company Employee Campaign of the Year. It was great to be a finalist and we salute Habush, Habush & Rottier who received campaign of the year award in our category during last week’s celebration of the 2012 campaign.
In addition to the pledge campaign, FNB Fox Valley’s United Way Committee organized several special events to raise funds and raise awareness, including a:
- Penny Blitz
- All-staff breakfast
- Dessert Cook-off
- Chili Cook-off
Throughout the campaign FNB-Fox Valley offered other incentives for employees to donate, like the opportunity to wear Packer gear in anticipation of upcoming Packer games.
We’re proud of the contribution our employees have made and take pride in the fact they care so much about their community and are willing to provide this. We can’t wait to see how we do next year!
